Once
you start playing Texas Hold’em you won’t be
able to stop!!!
Each player is dealt two cards face down.
These are called your “hole” or “pocket”
cards. Next is a round of betting. Players
can “check”, “raise” or “fold”. Or just go
“all-in” & see the expressions on your
opponents’ faces….
After betting, the dealer will “burn” a card
and then flips the next 3 cards face up on
the table. These cards are community cards &
are called “the flop”. Anyone can use these
cards in combination with their two pocket
cards to form a poker hand.
Another round of betting.
Another card ‘burnt’.
Dealer flips one more card face up on the
table. This is called ‘the turn’.
Another round of betting.
Another card ‘burnt’.
Dealers flips final card face up on the
table. This is called ‘the river’.
Players can now use any of the five cards on
the table and the 2 cards in their pocket to
form a five card poker hand. Now a final
round of betting and then the remaining
players will reveal their hands. It is
called ‘the showdown’.

Blackjack
is a variation of Pontoon, and by far one of
the most popular games, an ideal game for
novices & the more experienced player.
This is certainly another one of those must
have games at any fun gaming night!
The essence of Blackjack is to get as close
to 21 as possible. Over 21 and you loose!
Once you have cashed in your funny money
voucher, place your chips in the box in
front of you. The dealer will run her finger
along the insurance line to ensure that all
bets have been placed. This is when the fun
begins!
The dealer will deal two cards face up to
each player & one face up to herself.
Each player will then be asked in turn if
they would like any more cards.
Once all players have been asked, the dealer
will then deal herself cards.
Blackjack can accommodate 7 - 21 players,
great fun for novices & pro’s
Roulette
is the most famous & glamorous of the games
and no gaming night will be complete without
a Roulette table.

Change your ‘Funny’ money at the Roulette
table and your croupier will give you colour
chips. Everyone will have different coloured
chips. This helps you to quickly identify
whether you are one of the winners.
Place your bets on the layout, the croupier
will spin the wheel & give three
announcements so you & your guests are aware
when to start & stop placing bets.
“Place your bets please” (If
you have not already started placing
your chips, start now).
“Finish betting” (Get ready
to stop placing your bets; you have
around 5 seconds to finish betting).
“No more bets, thank you”
(You now stop placing bets & wait to see
if you are a lucky winner).
When the ball drops into the winning
number it will be marked with a "dolly". The
croupier will then pay the winning bets. This
game can accommodate +/- 10 players at any
one time.
Stud
Poker is one of the easiest & friendliest of
poker games, in which the players are trying
to get a higher hand than the dealer - they
are not competing against each other.
Stud poker is played at a table similar to
blackjack. The attraction of the game is the
high pay-off if you catch a good hand which
qualifies. The dealer requires Ace, King or
a higher ranking hand to qualify, if not she
will pay all the ante bets even money.
Once again, bets are placed in the box
called ‘Ante’. Each player, including the
dealer will receive 5 cards, one of the
dealers cards is placed face up. (A clue to
the strength of the dealer's hand).
Each player decides whether to continue
playing, if so you need to double your
original bet & place it in the raise box.

It is common to hear yelling
and shouting at a dice table.
To begin, the Shooter (one of the players)
must bet at least the table minimum on
either the Pass Line or the Don't Pass Line
(sometimes called 'win' or 'right' bets and
'don’t win' or 'wrong' bets).
The shooter must handle the dice with one
hand only when throwing and the dice must
hit the walls on the opposite end of the
table.
The craps table can accommodate up to about
20 players, who each get a round of throws
or at 'shooting' the dice. If you don't want
to throw the dice, you can bet on the
thrower.
The game is played in rounds, with the right
to roll the dice by each player moving
clockwise around the craps table at the end
of each round. A player may choose not to
roll but can continue to bet.
The dice are rolled across the craps table
layout. The layout is divided into three
areas - two side areas separated by a center
one. Each side area is the mirror reflection
of the other.
Below is a list of the various bets you can
make at craps.
